STYFL Sun Devils Football is part of the San Tan Youth Football League (STYFL), serving youth athletes in Queen Creek and the surrounding East Valley for over 20 years. Our program focuses on player development, teamwork, and competitive tackle football in a positive environment.
Season: August – December
Ages: 5 years old through 8th grade
Club Dues & Fees
Registration through STYFL is required for all athletes and is separate from Sun Devils club dues. Club dues help cover uniforms, training equipment, and team events. Dues may vary each season and will be communicated prior to the start of the season.
STYFL uses weighted divisions to help maintain fair and competitive play. The weights listed below include a 9.9 lb equipment allowance. Players above the listed weight may participate as a restricted player. Restricted players line up on the line of scrimmage in a down position at the start of each play. D5 does not use restricted weights.
Division 0
- 5 – 7 years old
- Restricted at 85lbs or more
Division 1
- 8 – 9 years old
- Restricted at 100lbs or more
Division 2
- 9 – 10 years old
- Restricted at 115lbs or more
Division 3
- 10 -11 years old
- Restricted at 130lbs or more
Division 4
- 11-12 years old
- Restricted at 155lbs or more
Division 5
- 12-14 years old (player cannot be in high school)
- Weight unlimited
